Flint Lockwood and his crazy inventions are coming back to theatres in a sequel to Sony's 2009 animated movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs Way back in 2009, Sony released a little animated film that by all means was underappreciated. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is one of the funniest, best paced animated movies that I have seen, and it felt like such a shame that I had to suggest and show the movie to several of my friends who had never seen it.
I can't have been the only person to feel this way however, as of September 27th this year, the sequel to this beloved motion picture will be coming back to the big screen!
The main cast is returning for the sequel, including Andy Samberg, Anna Farris, Bill Hader, Neil Patrick Harris, with Terry Crews replacing Mr T and Will Forte coming on as a new character.
The original writers Phil Lord and Chris Miler (21 Jump Street) are not back to write the film though, instead handing the reigns over to John Francis Daley and Jonathon Goldstein (Horrible Bosses). The writing teams have similar writing styles, and although hopes are high that it shouldn't effect the movie negatilvely, people obviously have their concerns.
