Australian Box Office Weekend Results, March 07 - 10

The Top 10 weekend earners at the Australian Box Office, for the weekend of March 07-10

Two new movies opened to the top spots for this month, Oz the Great and Powerful and 21 and Over have made positions first and second respectively in the first set of Box Office Weekend Results for March. They did, however, take a lot of traffic away from our other openers, Oz made over 55% of the total earnings for the top ten table this week. Cloud Atlas is still clinging to the top ten, spending its second weekend in the lower half.
  1. Oz the Great and Powerful
    $4,773,684
  2. 21 and Over
    $821,576
  3. I Give It a Year
    $710,405
  4. Silver Linings Playbook
    $669,307
  5. Broken City
    $464,547
  6. Lincoln
    $316,425
  7. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
    $293,333
  8. Django Unchained
    $269,305
  9. Beautiful Creatures
    $232,565
  10. Cloud Atlas
    $219,664
Quietly opening to second spot, 21 and Over has snuck under most peoples radar (like the majority of movies last weekend) due to the presence of the highly anticipated Oz. So far it's reception has been so-so but Done Did It will be seeing it as of Wednesday and will get back to you with our verdict!
