According to Deadline the most recent addition to the Need for Speed film adaptation currently in the works, is none other than Mr Solo Dolo himself, Scott 'Kid Cudi' Mescudi.
The movie is going to be an adaptation of the much loved franchise, rather than any individual game entry in the series. It is going to be a high octane, fast paced film, very much in the style of the great car culture films of the 70's, while keeping true to the feel of the games.
Scott Waugh is said to be directing the feature film, coming from a long history of stunt work and a role directing and producing 2012's Act of Valor.
The cast so far has the likes of Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later) and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger)
The movie will be released on February 7th 2014.
